A Mini Break at Blue Karma Resort, Ubud, Bali
Just a little North of Ubud center, 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from Bali Airport (DPS), you’ll find this gem of a boutique resort!
I couldn’t believe the exoticness of this boutique resort. It caught my attention with just two words: Boutique & Resort. Exactly what I needed!
I knew Blue Karma Ubud through Tom and through social media. Pictures were beautiful, and reality is just AS GREAT!
I arrived very late at night, checked in and went to sleep. Woke up the next morning, rushed to open the curtains to feel the sun rays coming into the room from every corner. What a feeling..
After my trip to Vietnam, I needed to work and catch up on my social media, my blog, and some work back home. I found the perfect spot to do that in this place! ♡ I started working right after my breakfast, which oh, their breakfast menu is the cutest! they serve breakfast in different tray categories: Lebanese, Vietnamese, Healthy, and so on. I tried the Lebanese and the Healthy during my stay.
Wifi is free around the resort, so where you decide to sit, you’ll enjoy their fast free Wifi! I took my laptop with me to the pool, the restaurant and the reception area. All were with great signals.
Since the hotel is green with private villas surrounded by jungle and rice fields, I couldn’t resist but to book for a biking tour around the rice fields, rice terrace and coffee plantations.
Later at night, I enjoyed trying Blue Restaurant, which had a fine selection of western and Indonesian cuisine.
Blue Karma Ubud features a blend of traditional and modern designs! My room was the garden suite overlooking a beautiful garden view; it was air-conditioned, with a small seating area, a wardrobe and personal safe.
I always enjoyed a spacious en suite bathroom that had a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries.
A big thank you and a shout out for the friendly staff at the resort! I drove them crazy with my calls regarding sounds I heard outside my villa haha (Yup, i’m scared of everything that moves that isn’t human…). They were too sweet, they rushed to see if everything is okay overtime I called. THANK YOU.

With a great location in Ubud, a fast drive to the center, great value for money and amazing staff? thats a major YES. Recommended, and I could very much see myself visiting again!
