Bloggers Night at Q Cafe’
Few weeks ago I got an invitation to Q Cafe’ bloggers night, at their newly opened branch in The Village
Salem was my plus one for the day, I had no expectations whatsoever since I haven’t tried it before which was good to give me a chance to review everything ..
I really can’t recall the name of the drink but it tasted like candy, very refreshing and prepared my taste buds for the upcoming dishes
what’s funny I offered Salem a sip but his comment was it’s too pink for his taste !
If it was only pink then he might have considered *lol*
Strawberry Salad
Rocca and baby spinach, fine chopped onions, fresh strawberries served with sweet balsamic dressing , topped with roasted almond flakes
*two thumbs up*
Chicken livers tossed in balsamic sauce served on a bed of balsamic leaves and bread..
Salem thought it was nice but for me I only had one bite and I thought it had an after taste which I really didn’t like but the sweetest Arwa offered to replace the dish however I declined since I wanted to have enough space to try other dishes..
French fries, I wanted to try out the sweet potato fries but were not available at the moment so just opted for regular fries which were golden and crunchy..
Moving on to stuffed gnocchi, I have tried many gnocchi dishes before but its a first to try something stuffed with a smooth blend of sundries tomatoes and cheese
topped with a spicy creamy sauce
Roasted Salmon and Couscous
That was my favourite dish aside from the gnocchi since I have been badly craving a salmon dish served at Giraffe London and finally found the perfect replacement !

The happy ending to the meal was Brioche & Icecream
Golden slices of brioche smothered with toffee sauce and a scoop of vanilla icecream <3
Nice fluffy cup of coffee to compliment the desserts ! yum !
And we didn’t leave empty handed, Arwa spoiled us rotten with a cake box filled with an assortment of their speciality sweets and it was beyond delicious
you gotta try the peanut butter brownie and red velvet <3
