Gimme Some SKINN Man

“In an age where men are more concerned about their health and well-being, they no longer need to be overshadowed by women when it comes to skin care. Modern men require time-effective, multifunctional skin care products – and SKINN’s range can certainly provide that.”

SKINN has launched a new product range for the Middle East to meet the rising demand for male cosmetics – fact: UAE men consume eight times more than American men to stay ahead of Old Father Time

“SKINN’s invigorating cosmetics range is specifically designed to enhance the male skin type, which research shows, suffers from more redness and soreness than that of females due to the consequences of razor shaving, Built upon dermatological and medical principles, SKINN was developed after years of medical research by Dr. Nina Wines and biochemist Annabel Merz. Since meeting in 1997 the dedicated Australian duo tested a wide range of ingredients before eventually achieving an effective and rejuvenating skin care product.

“SKINN differentiates itself from conventional products by both its unique dedication to healthy male skin, and its use of only the highest quality ingredients”

Fly Rollercoaster

There’s always a catch in every cheap flight. I traveled on Fly Dubai last week for the first time, and this is what I think..

DISlLIKES
#1
Horrific check-In service. It took them forever to check us in and give us our boarding. The line was too too long and people were waiting and fighting. The person whose supposed to give us our boarding passes welcomed us by saying: “Allah i3eenkum 3ala hal flight il khaysaa!!”, In addition, she was chatting with her friend that she hasn’t seen for sometime, exchanging numbers, and making plans. , completely forgetting about us. She even asked “oohh 3a6aitkum kil ilboardings wila fee ba3ad nagseen?”.

#2
Right before getting our boarding passes; we had to go pay for each luggage we have, NOT excess weight, but for each bag. The rates were as follows:
- 12 KD for 1 bag
- 52 KD for 2 bags
Wait, but the flight price itself is around KD 39. Why do I have to pay 52 for the bags?….

It was a very small plane, no business or first only regular economy seats so there are no options. As we took off, it was literally a rollercoaster. It was going up and down, up and down. It was crazy! What made it worse? There was an announcement in a very loud and scary voice: “This is direct announcement number 1, Seat-belts sign is on, please fasten your seatbelts as we are going through some air turbulence”. GOOD GOD. The announcement scared the hell out of me.

We Landed in Terminal 2, which was crappy and very small. Bad smell too.

On the way back, in Dubai’s Airport, they refused to let us in before getting our “electronic tickets” printed from their sales office. Now, the thing is the sales office is FULL. People have lots of inquiries, and everyone wanted to print out their tickets and there were only 2 employees; It took us and others forever.

All in all, i don’t think i’m traveling on Fly Dubai anytime soon.

Cheers!
