5 THINGS TO DO IN BORACAY!

1. Island Hopping

We’ve done Island hopping in Boracay, absolutely worth it! There are plenty of islands to explore, so make sure you know where you’d like to go. Famous tours are usually the half day tours, which means hiring a boat for a half-day tour around the island’s many beaches including Puka Beach, Crocodile Beach, and Tambisaan Beach. Tours usually include lunch!

Other stops as the ones i’ve seen are crystal cove, and another island that I don’t remember its name .. the weather was raining so it wasn’t helpful. We however stopped for snorkeling and it was so much fun!

Other islands you might be taken to is are the West Cove, Magic Island, and Balinghai Beach.

Be aware that these tours are tricky, so I highly recommend you do your booking via your hotel.

Here’s a quick summary of the beaches, plus travel times and costs from the center:

2. DO NOT MISS Sunset at Solana Sunset Bar at the Shangri La Boracay resort. (You must reserve in advance)

One of the most beautiful sunsets i’ve ever seen!!! Absolutely an experience and worth going if you aren’t already staying there.

If you’re seeking experiencing the sunset differently, try renting a paraw or local sailboat that sets off from the shores of White Beach to watch the sunset while sailing!

3. Scuba Diving

Calypso Dive Resort is a PADI 5-Star IDC Center with multi-lingual instructors.

There are about 25 dive sites around Boracay accessible by a short boat ride. There are shallow and easy spots where you can observe the colourful reef life and stunning coral with parrot fishes, damsel fishes and turtles.

There are also more challenging dive sites like Yapak and Camia reserved for experienced divers because of the depth and current. You can see there pelagic fishes such as Barracudas, Dogtooth Tunas, Trevallies. Whitetip and Blacktip Reef Sharks can also be spotted.

Dive sites like Crocodile Island and Laurel Island are also interesting places close by for underwater macro photography as there are many critters to find, such as Pipefishes, Nudibranchs and brilliant, colourful coral.

4. Go to “Station 2” at night and enjoy the lively night scene!

We went for the night to Station 2 for dinner, to walk around and see the area – I was very surprised with how vibing it was! Filled with people, music, restaurants and cafes! So much fun, I really enjoyed it!

5. Parasailing, Standup Paddle & Other water activities
