Blackberry Sneak Peak !

Few days ago I was invited by Bensirri PR on behalf of Research In Motion (RIM) to an exclusive bloggers event to showcase and announce the latest additions to BlackBerry World !
Not much of a gadget freak myself, but I’m a heavy BlackBerry user I didn’t want to miss one of the first events helf in the Middle East and specifically Kuwait to highlight the importance of the Kuwaiti market for Rim !
Greeted by Mr Mohammed Al-Mefleh, Director of Product Management, Services & Platforms at RIM Middle East the event focus on three main points;
- The newly introduced Blackberry 7.1 OS , NFC enabled which makes sharing information with a tap of a button & turns BlackBerries into a mobile hotspot as well as tunning in local FM radio stations.
- Latest BBM edition 6.1 supporting animated avatars, new emoticons , customized chat bubbles.
- New features of the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 were demonstrated on set.
We were able to browse a variety of latest BlackBerry devices, the Porsche Design BlackBerry which was super slick and sophisticated as well as a number of other new devices as well to explore, not to forget mentioning the amount of details Besirri PR have managed to put into the whole event which is a plus to me everything was customised and highly efficient even the whole team was running around to make everyone comfortable and respond to each and every tiny little question or query the attendance would display!
