Goalcourts iPhone app
If you play soccer with your friends on these soccer fields owned by Goalcourts, then you have probably seen their website. Now they have an iPhone app to reserve the soccer fields. The app is free and available on Appstore.

TweetPath – The next boom in social networking
“The smart journal that helps you share life with the ones you love.”
Path was originally launched almost a year ago as an iOS app. Recently it got update to version 2.0 which added a number of new features and a new major upgrade to the app’s design. I have been playing with it since last week and I have to say, I love it. This is coming from a guy who’s not a huge fan of Facebook and definitely dislikes G+.
Path is basically a mix between Twitter, Instagram and Foursquare. Yet it still goes out of its way to have its own unique atmosphere and its “Path”. Things you can do with Path: post updates(with no characters limitation), pictures(including filters), music you’re listening to(Your friends can actually play the tracks), videos, location check-in and you can comment/like/add emotions to all of the above. You can combo all of that into a single post.
Why I like Path? It is the most beautiful social networking app I have seen yet. Remember, Path is an app similar to Instagram. It is not a website. It’s fast with a very elegant and very well designed UI. It’s also more private than any other social network. You can have a maximum number of 150 friends on Path, that’s it. So it’s better suited to have your close friends, family and online buddies. Originally the number used to be 50 and according to Shawn Fanning the founder of Path “We chose 50 based on the research of Oxford Professor of Evolutionary Psychology Robin Dunbar, who has long suggested that 150 is the maximum number of social relationships that the human brain can sustain at any given time.”
Path isn’t complete yet and it lacks some features I would like to see. Things like the ability to keep track of the pictures we upload, the ability to send private messages to our friends and finally the ability to directly mention friends in our updates(you can choose the “I’m with” but that’s not exactly what I’m referring to)
Path is currently available on iOS and Android. My final verdict on Path….
TweetLost Your Apps with iOS 5 update? Don’t worry, iCloud has You Covered.
How to restore all your “lost” apps
- Open the App Store app on your device
- Go to “updates”
- Under updates, a new option appears: “Purchased”
- Under “purchased,” you can see all your purchased apps, or only the apps that aren’t currently on your device. In my case, none of my purchased apps were on my device (save Buzz). If this is the case for you, I recommend re-downloading from this screen, as the app disappears from the list once you have it on your device.
- Click on the small cloud icon, and the app will re-download to your device, free of charge. Note: You do not have to pay for apps you’ve already purchased. Re-downloading is free.
Addictive iPhone Game!
If you like cards, or specifically Solitaire; then you HAVE TO download Magic Towers! its sooo addictive I love it.
TweetLinkedIn’s Mobile App
For many young professionals, it’s hard to imagine why you’d want to use a business social-networking site like LinkedIn on the go. It just doesn’t have the ubiquity of a Facebook or the hipness of an Instagram. (which I both use… lol)
I love the new application, it’s very easy to use. It presents you with a quick glance at relevant news for your industry, as well as a snapshot of personal and professional updates from your contacts. It makes staying up-to-date on your business life a painless, quick and we daresay even fun process.
And according to LinkedIn mobile product chief Joff Redfern, it’s exactly what LinkedIn users want and are going to love.
The mobile apps are optimized to allow users to grow their network and stay connected. In the new interface invitations are a one-click process. The LinkedIn app also gives Groups a large role.
