Mallorca, Spain

What a trip! I think I very much underestimated the beauty of Majorca.

Reached Mallorca via Madrid through Iberia (there are also other airlines and flights).. Quick flight of an hour and half or so..

Mallorca (Majorca) is one of Spain’s Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean. It’s known for beach resorts, sheltered coves, limestone mountains and Roman and Moorish remains. Capital Palma has nightlife, the Moorish Almudaina royal palace and 13th-century Santa María Cathedral. Stone-built villages include Pollença, with its art galleries and music festival, and hillside Fornalutx, surrounded by citrus plantations. [Wikipedia]

This trip I stayed one night in Palma Mallorca (the area was okay, the hotel was amazing!!! Hotel name: Boutique Hotel Can Cera) located in the old town, great location,

I’ve also come across Hotel Mama which looked very cute!

My other 2 nights on an authentic 2-bedroom wooden boat (which was great!)

One problem that faced us on the boat: weather issues!

It was cold to my surprise, windy and with too many waves!

I’ll write down the names of the Islands we were supposed to see, or made a stop at and the port that I LOVED.

Kicked off the ride from Alcudia port and ended in Port Andratx!

Prior to embarking the boat, we passed by Cap Formentor, the northest point of Mallorca! Very recommended, to be checked out!

Starting point thereafter: Alcudia!

We pass by via sea:

  • Cala figuera (If you’re looking for hotels, I recommend this area to stay at!)
  • Soller
  • Sa foradada
  • Dragonera
  • Our last stop was Port Andratx which I enjoyed a lot!

The Name ‘Andratx’ has Latin roots, where ‘antra’ translates into caves, and as soon as you arrive the port you will see that you are surrounded by mountains, cliffs, and caves.

Another places Ive heard so much about in Mallorca and try to check them out:

  • Magaluf
  • S’Arenal
  • Es Calo des Moro Beach in Southern Mallorca
  • Cala Pi Beach in Southern Mallorca

I didn’t write MUCH details, but wrote the names where your search will become SO MUCH easier after you start off here…

Hope this post helps you plan your own Mallorca journey, buen viaje! ♡
