Mallorca or Majorca, is he largest island of the Balearic Islands, which are part of Spain, and the seventh largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Palma is the capital city of the island of Mallorca. The name changed from Palma de Mallorca to Palma in 2016. The terms are synonymous and refer to the busy city center of Mallorca island.
